We have no puppies available at this time, but we do have a litter planned to be due around Thanksgiving 2024!

Voodoo will be bred to Hiccup in the Fall of 2024

We have a limited number of puppies available per year.  We will begin accepting applications for a current litter when the puppies are about 2-3 weeks old.  We will begin contacting the approved adoptive homes, accepting deposits, and reserving puppies, when they are between 5-8 weeks old, and have their EMBARK results in.  This allows me time to both carefully choose the best home for each puppy, and also to evaluate and choose any that I may want to retain for our program.  Our puppies can usually go home at around 9-12 weeks of age.

Our Puppies are typically between $3,500 - $4,500 (Pet price), with Full AKC  available for an additional $500 on show potential puppies only, and to approved homes only.   A non-refundable $500 deposit will hold your puppy for you until it is ready to come home.  This deposit goes towards the total purchase price of your puppy.  Each pup will come home with a "puppy pack" that includes a blankie & toy that smells like it's littermates and mom, a brand new barkbox toy, harness and leash, disposable potty pads for the ride home, small slicker brush, poo bags, nutri-cal sample, food & treats, as well as it's AKC paperwork & puppy information packet, microchip information, vet check, vaccination & de-worming schedule, puppy contract & health guarantee, and Pomeranian care & information sheets :).

We recommend that you either drive to our home to pick up your puppy in person, or we can meet you at the Sacramento Int. Airport (SMF) two hours before your flight home, and you can fly your puppy home as a pet carry-on.  We are happy to answer all of your questions regarding flying your puppy home for the first time, to help the journey go as smoothly as possible :)  If you fly the puppy home, you will need your own airline approved puppy carry-on bag (visit https://www.delta.com/us/en/pet-travel/overview for details on flying with your puppy).  We do offer shipping as a third option, nationwide, via flight nanny, for an additional $750-$850+.  Flight nanny prices vary and will be quoted on a case by case basis.  Puppies that are shipped via flight nanny, or who fly home with their new human family, can go home at 8+ weeks of age - but we will sometimes wait until 10 weeks of age if they need more time to fully wean or to grow a little bigger for safe travel.  I fly them myself whenever I can in order to reduce the stress level placed on the puppy, however this is not always possible.  We recommend flying with Delta because we have found them to be the most accommodating when traveling with pets.  Ground shipping is available within a 4 hour drive from Redding, CA. for $100 to cover gas.  Feel free to contact me if you have special shipping circumstances, and we'll figure something out :)  We do not currently ship internationally-  and we will never ship our babies through cargo.

Yates Pomeranians reserves the right to retain the first choice puppy of any litter, unless otherwise stated in a stud agreement.

Puppy Curriculum

Our puppies are introduced to a wide range of stimuli including sounds, sensations, and surfaces that help to prepare them for life in their new homes.  Puppies are handled and loved-on several times per day, and are introduced to grooming, crates, and car rides before they leave our program.  We begin potty training using washable potty pads, as well as some basic obedience training (remember they are just babies and this is meant to be fun training for them - nothing too intense) like "come-when-called", "sit", and "easy" (gentle mouth).  Our puppies will be exposed to cats, birds, older dogs, bigger dogs, vacuum cleaner noises, traffic/car sounds, and much more.  They'll also get to try out their problem solving skills on several treat puzzles and snuffle mats.  Our babies will get to walk on many different surfaces including vinyl, cement, carpet, gravel, grass, stairs, and potty pad grates.  We are constantly adding new and useful stimuli to their curriculum!  Follow us on Instagram @ yates_pomeranians for updates and photos of the puppies trying it all out!
